The Governing Body of our dojo is the National Federation for Personal Safety (NFPS).

Whilst the training at WMJJC has its basis in Ju Jitsu (including some traditional elements) it is also influenced by up-to-date, modern techniques and philosophies such as those held by our governing body.

The aim of the NFPS is to deliver training that reduces risk and liability. Using their highly qualified & experienced instructors, they utilise the latest proven techniques, including NLP, Neuro-Associative Learning and Quantum Thinking. Their training is based on a thorough needs analysis and is fully backed by all the relevant documentation & legal audits.

NFPS training is consistent with UK law, including Human Rights, Health and Safety Legislation and the new Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007. They are also an Edexcel Approved Centre for the delivery of BTEC Awards and currently offer a range of BTEC's in Physical Restraint and Breakaway as well as Managing Retail Theft & Conflict.
